Springfield Little Theatre is the oldest and largest community theatre in Missouri. We present more than 100 performances to more than 65,000 people annually, and we offer unparalleled and nationally-recognized education programs year round.
Our beautiful home, the Landers Theatre, is an official National Historic Site. We spent more than $400,000 in the past four years on preserving the building. In order to continue necessary structural maintenance, we urgently need to raise more than $1 million.
Numerous items of work need to be performed on The Landers Theatre to correct and maintain the structural integrity of the building and to provide an appropriate venue for the patrons, staff, volunteers, and performers. The first part of phase one, to be completed as soon as possible, is largely exterior work. • Repair of the water intrusion at the front of the theatre • Repair east alley to control water system

HOW TO SUPPORT THE LANDERS THEATRE:
Begin your support today by dropping your spare change, a couple dollars, or a check made out to Springfield Little Theatre in our Change for The Landers box in the lobby. Your contribution at today’s performance will help us kick off our Give Ozarks campaign with money in the bank, making us eligible for extra “day of” prizes! Every dollar counts!
You can support our preservation of the historic Landers Theatre efforts by making a secure donation on this page anytime from midnight to midnight on May 9. Your contributions at any level are greatly appreciated! $5, $10, $15… every donation gets us closer to our goal. Dependent on your participation, we have the opportunity to win cash prizes throughout the day. Many of the prizes are generated by numbers of donors within any given hour, not the amounts of the donations.
On Tuesday, May 9 be a social media warrior for the Landers Theatre! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (all @SpfldTheatre) and share our posts with your followers! The idea is to get as many people as possible involved in this local day of giving. Give where you live!
