Who’s Been Left-Out Now?
Over the previous three years, Houston Education Foundation (HEF) has funded the purchase of new personal computers, Chromebooks, for the Houston School District. The project started with sixteen Chromebooks for high school English. Those were followed by ones for the elementary in grades three, four, & five. Next, additional Chromebooks and charging stations were added for the high school as well as for the seventh and eighth grade in middle school. Chrome books with charging stations were then added to the new library/media center. The total expenditure thus far is in excess of $54,000.00 (fifty-four thousand dollars.)
Now it is time to bring the sixth grade class into the twenty-first century. HEF’s new goal is to provide Chromebooks to the sixth grade students at a cost of $17,000.00. This is our goal for Give Ozarks 2017.
Please help HEF with this critical project by donating through GIVE OZARKS on May 9, 2017. Use this link to donate using your VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, or AMERICAN EXPRESS.
