Give Ozarks Day/ Give Finley River Day is an online, 24-hour community-wide Day of Giving sponsored by The Community Foundation of the Ozarks. Funds raised on May 9th will determine the number of local children and children in foster care the H.A.Y Foundation can serve in 2017.
The H.A.Y. (Horses Assisting Youth) Foundation serves children between the ages of 5 and 17 who suffer from emotional challenges (i.e. anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, trust and attachment issues, death, physical or sexual abuse, neglect, homelessness etc). The H.A.Y. Foundation Program builds confidence and self-esteem, behavioral control, respect, responsibility, language and communication skills, and provides the opportunity to create a trusting bond with the horse, instructor, and peer role models.
Your donation helps cover the cost for staff, insurance and a belt buckle for children in the 8 week Horsemanship Lesson Program. Your donation DOES NOT pay for the use of horses, indoor riding facility and outdoor arena near Nixa, horse care (horse shoes, feed, vet etc), arena grooming, electricity, propane, supplies and administrative services since H.A.Y. is provided these at no cost.
YOU can help H.A.Y. raise money for our local youth dealing with social or emotional challenges by doing any of the following things:
1. Donate! Any amount helps. Go to the "Donate" button at the top of this page!
2. Tell your friends and ask them to support H.A.Y. by sharing our link Facebook: https://www.giveozarks.org/2017/hay-foundation.
