Who enabled you to have a great future?  Maybe it was a teacher, coach, parent, aunt, or grandparent but for many of our members, we are that person.  We are the place where they feel at home, safe, challenged and encouraged.  The Club is "home" to over 1,600 children in the Taney and Stone Counties, with three seperate Units to serve our community best.

The primary goal of this project is to provide access to high-quality youth enrichment programs for kids attending the Club.

With over 69% of the student population of Taney and Stone Counties qualifying for free or reduced school lunch benefits, the effects of poverty are a continually growing concern for our community.  Coupled with the lack of programs available for school-age youth during out of school time, families are faced with the challenge of holding down a job (or two!) and finding something meaningful and affordable for their children to do during times when school is not in session.

Our programs will provide area youth with a variety of educational, fine arts, technology, character development, and sports and fitness programs and activities directed by trained youth development professionals, along with a nutritious meal (we served over 112,000 meals in 2016).

The Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks consistently offers the lowest rate ($30 per child,) than any other out-of-school program in the area. However, even with a sliding-scale fee structure in place, demand for the Club’s services  has dramatically increased among those families struggling to survive in poverty.
